Fire season is officially over at 12:01 tonight. We had a decent amount of rain this past few days - I predicted the major rain and end to fire season by the end of the month, nice to have it end a bit early. It's been a long fire season this year......not only here but all over the west. That is all I have to say today..........
That's great news! So glad to hear you're getting rain too! I think the fire season for SoCal continues for another month or so, unfortunately. Hopefully, we'll get cooler, wetter weather than usual and not as much wind as we usually get in the Fall.
ReplyDeleteYes, have seen that fire east of LA on the news - wishing it would start raining down there too.
DeleteI'll celebrate that with you. It's been a tense year and while we're still tinder dry here, there's no lightening activity in the forecast.
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo Hoo!
ReplyDeleteHurray! Wonderful news indeed.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It's been so hot and dry this year. I'm hoping for rain/snow this fall and winter for the Boise area.
