I like the opening where the closet used to be. It makes it so much more open, bright, and airy. Very nice! But they are sound cabinets. The work on the place is being done on shoestring budget so no money for new cabinets, even Ikea ones, hence the painting to come. And if we had bought new cabinets they would have been white so why not paint what we have.

I've learned about a great product from the family owned home improvement store over there called Krud=Kutter Gloss Off - has worked great on all the furniture I've been painting - it's a deglosser and cleaner - no sanding needed. If you do decide to paint your cabinets this stuff is great.

http://www.krudkutter.com/index.php?option=com_products&task=product&pid=24&Itemid=64Cindie https://www.blogger.com/profile/00417973211775970549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5196798951942000203.post-19035272690276341482014-05-12T01:15:44.440-07:002014-05-12T01:15:44.440-07:00Looks like Sam has found a new job! I've thought of doing the same in our kitchen, but am afraid to cover the wood.Claudia MBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16129174274991976727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5196798951942000203.post-30357074786005335202014-05-11T05:17:08.607-07:002014-05-11T05:17:08.607-07:00And it all looks awesome!
